Lined Valves

Borosilicate glass is used in sight glass valves, which are resistant to most chemicals. However, the housing that carries the glass must be protected.

Sight glass valves are often found in the lined valve section because the body of the sight glass valve can be lined with PTFE or PFA to ensure resistance to the process for corrosive applications.
